The Concept
Restroom Refine was born out of an MBA course focused on improving existing products and services. One idea was already top of mind—spending more money to go out, only to feel disappointed by the experience.
That led to rethinking a part of the dining experience that often goes unnoticed: The Restroom.
In most restaurants, waitstaff are hired to serve—not to tidy restrooms—and during busy shifts, restroom upkeep often becomes an afterthought.
The result? Guests walk into spaces that feel neglected, which can negatively impact their overall impression.
At the same time, dining out is becoming more expensive. Customers are spending more of their hard-earned money, yet the quality of the experience seems to be slipping—especially in the small but meaningful details.
Restrooms, in particular, reflect the care and quality a restaurant provides. We believe no one should leave a restroom feeling worse than when they entered. Clean, comfortable, professionally maintained restrooms lead to happier customers, better reviews, more word-of-mouth traffic, and ultimately—more money in your pocket.
